Where is Manx Fun Farm? 

Perfectly located in a central spot on the island, with ample parking and space for all our family-friendly and grown-up activities, Manx Fun Farm is on the A2 between Onchan and Laxey. Situated on the No 3 bus route, festival-goers can travel responsibly from the Lord Street bus station in Douglas. 

How much are the tickets? 

The ticket price for admission to the Festival from 12h00 to 19h00 is £10 for adults (18+) and £5 for children aged 6 to 17. There is no charge for children aged 5 and under. Take advantage of our early bird discount between 26 July and 6 August – £8 for adults and £4 for children aged 6 to 17! A booking fee of £1 applies on all tickets, which covers the costs of the Ticket Master booking platform and PayPal payment provider.

What is your refund policy? 

Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of rain the Local is Lekker market, Family Zone, food stalls and entertainment will move into marquees. 

Is the event dog-friendly? 

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted due to the farm animals on the property. 

Is there a cost for parking? 

No. There is ample free parking. We do, however, recommend taking the 3 or 3A bus as it stops directly outside Manx Fun Farm on the A2 for your safety and convenience. 

Can I bring my own food? 

The SA Festival is a celebration of food, music and culture, and it’s your chance to satisfy all your cravings with a wide range of South African, African and local specialities, created specially for you by our stallholders. Strictly no picnic baskets, cooler bags or outside food will be allowed. 

Why can’t I bring my own drinks? 

The venue’s liquor licence does not allow for alcohol to be brought onto the property. A full bar will be available. 

Where can I buy drinks? 

Manx Fun Farm will be running a full bar. Look out for your favourite SA brands!

Can I bring a picnic blanket, camping chairs and umbrella? 

Definitely! Please bring everything you need to make a day of it. Subject to prevailing wind conditions that might make umbrellas unsafe. Please avoid gazebos. 

What entertainment is there for children? 

There will be plenty to keep the little ones entertained, under your supervision. Inflatables, lawn games, and crazy golf are included in your ticket price and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. The Sport Zone will offer fun rounders and touch rugby games. 

What food will be on sale? 

Plenty of good old SA braaivleis (barbecue), boerewors rolls and burgers on sale plus authentic Durban curries, samosas, bunny chow, crepes, and loads of your favourite sweet treats. Keep an eye out on the Isle Settle Facebook page for more info. 

Will vegetarians be catered for? 

Train Smokers, La Creperie and Kas’s Durban Curries will be offering vegetarian and vegan options. 

Is all the entertainment included in the ticket price? 

Your ticket price includes all-day entertainment, including SA music, local pop-up acoustic bands, the Local is Lekker market, face painting, sport zone, touch rugby, and activities like football darts. The Manx Fun Farm activities (soft play area, laser tag and bowling) are not included but will be available at your own cost. 

Is the event wheelchair-friendly? 

The venue has wheelchair access from the parking area to the marquee. The Local is Lekker Market will be easily accessible but some of the entertainment is located further onto the grounds and may be difficult to reach over the grass.
